Sherpa Fork Rebuild
Send us your loose fork legs, and we will rebuild them in the CB Moto workshop.
The service includes:
- Complete dismantling and cleaning
- Inspection of stanchions, sliders, springs and internal components
- New standard fork seals
- Fresh fork oil
- Reassembly and bench testing
- Condition report
- UK mainland return delivery

Clutch Inspection & Setup
Clutch slip, drag, a heavy lever, and a clunk when selecting gear are common Sherpa complaints. Correct adjustment involves more than simply tightening the clutch-spring nuts.
The service includes:
- Friction and steel-plate inspection
- Clutch-pack thickness check
- Spring-height and pressure adjustment
- Pushrod and operating-arm inspection
- Cable and lever setup
- Clutch oil replacement
- Final running adjustment
Replacement plates, springs, cables, and gaskets are charged separately where required.

Electronic Ignition Fitting
Electronic ignition can improve reliability, but accurate installation and timing are essential.
Our service includes:
- Installation of a compatible electronic ignition kit
- Wiring and connection checks

- Final timing check
The electronic ignition kit and any additional wiring components are charged separately.

Chassis and Bearing Refresh
Worn or incorrectly fitted bearings can make a Sherpa feel unstable, heavy to steer or difficult to control.
Available work includes:

- Swingarm alignment and free-movement checks
- Steering adjustment
- Control, cable and lever setup
Parts and machining are quoted separately following inspection.

Important Information
Carburetors must be drained of fuel before being delivered or posted to CB Moto. Ultrasonic cleaning removes dirt, varnish and fuel deposits but cannot reverse corrosion or repair worn or damaged components.
We will contact you before carrying out any additional work that falls outside the selected service.

The CB Moto Trial Ready Storage Service combines post-trial cleaning, secure indoor storage and a pre-trial preparation check in one convenient package.
After your event, simply bring your trials bike to CB Moto. We will clean it, inspect it for any obvious problems and store it securely until you are ready to ride again.
Before collection, we complete a final preparation check so your bike is clean, checked and ready for the next trial.

Pre-Trial Preparation Check
Before collection, we will:
Check and set tyre pressures
Check chain tension and lubrication
Check brake and clutch operation
Check throttle, cables and controls
Check fluid levels where applicable
Inspect essential fasteners
Check for leaks or deterioration
Start the motorcycle and confirm basic operation
The price includes one post-trial clean, up to four weeks of secure storage and one pre-trial preparation check.
Optional Extras
Additional storage: £15.00 per week

No additional repair work will be undertaken without the customer’s approval.
The standard price covers normal post-trial cleaning. Exceptionally heavy contamination or motorcycles requiring extensive dismantling to clean may incur an additional charge.
